As usual, some of the sharpest political analysts in the country converged today morning at Kisementi based Capital FM to discuss different topics of national importance. The show, Capital Gang, is a weekly political talk show with some of the most observant political views in the country at the moment.
One of the Gangsters, Mary Anne Nanfuka Kasule, a city lawyer was stingy again after comments she made about stressing President Museveni until he dies, last week. She expressed general concern about the state of leadership in the nation and why the NRM is using what she termed as riffraff to campaign.
“We need to start worrying about the quality of leadership in Uganda. NRM has reduced its big leaders to the level of the Full Figures, Sipapa, Big Eye and I think it doesn’t sink in well with the party’s big dogs” Hon. Abdul Katuntu observed at the talk show.
This was in defense of Nanfuka’s brutal words aimed at Lydia Wanyoto, the Chairperson of the NRM Women’s League, herself a gangster. Nanfuka faulted the NRM for harbouring many riffraff and elevating them to the level of public figures and faces of the party.
Nafunka, a big city lawyer said Full Figure is a shame to the country and as much as NRM is using her, she is giving the country negative publicity and renders the party as jokers.
“Full figure has a rotten mouth, so intoxicating and vulgar, I wonder why she is out on the street if Stella Nyanzi is in jail.” Nanfuka added.
In retaliation, Ms Wanyoto argued that the NRM is an admissive party which welcomes any Ugandan citizen. She continued to say that Nanfuka calling Ugandan citizens “riffraff” was not in order and ashaming for a citizen of her caliber.
“Buchaman, Full Figure, and Sipapa are Ugandan citizens whose vote carries the same weight as any other vote, so outsourcing them is in no way a bad move for the party” Wanyoto said.
