With the current increase in coronavirus cases in Uganda and Kenya attributed to cross region truck drivers, a lot of strict measures have been put in place by governments to streamline their movements and control the further spread of coronavirus across the region.
However, news reaching our desk indicates that the regional truck drivers have allegedly staged a no-move protest for 50km.
They accuse the governments of Kenya and Uganda of mistreatment, torture and stigmatization.
