Veteran Journalist and renown City Motor-Mouth Joseph Tamale Mirundi has appeared in the media after his unceremonious bundling out of NBS TV and other Media Channels he has been appearing at.
Mirundi, appearing on Kasuku Live (You Tube) has revealed that his troubles, as expected, have been orchestrated by the Mafia that he has been exposing on his various show programs.
According to Mirundi, some government officials that he believes are working overtime to discredit President Museveni, have pulled every string possible to ensure he doesn’t appear on any programs in the media again.
“They want to eat too much and get away with it. They started with locusts and when COVID-19 came, they saw a fresh eating ground. They are like the proverbial monkeys that played with fire while the forest (their habitat) was being burnt to the ground.” Mirundi said in the interview.
He also made mention of a certain government official whose Hotel was procured to act as an isolation centre for COVID-19 patients and those to be quarantined from abroad. Apparently, he was paid a whooping Shs 5Bn for the service, but no one was isolated in that Hotel.
“President Kenyatta told Museveni that the amount he uses to treat one COVID-19 patient, treats 50 in Kenya. While they use USD 3.5 there, in Uganda it is USD 65.” Mirundi revealed.
