Cedric Babu Ndilima Schools Opponents in Kampala Central NRM Primary

Cedric Babu Ndilima, a celebrated television actor and son of National Resistance Movement (NRM) historical Capt. Francis Babu has overwhelmingly won the Kampala Central MP NRM ticket.

According to official results released at the tallying centre, the UBC TV Presenter polled 26,799 votes as compared to his opponents Baker Kyambadde who got 4,363 votes and Isa Kato who got 2,670 votes.

While announcing his win on social media, Mr. Ndilima promised to sweep the general election in 2021 and paint the entire Kampala Central yellow.

“Thank God! My family, best friends a man can have, my supporters and the National Resistance Movement (NRM). All I can say is #EkibugaKyaffe.” Ndilima declared.

He is set to face off with former NRM legislator turned Independent Hon. Mohammed Nsereko.
