Gifted Music Group CEO and Busiro South Member of Parliament (MP) aspirant Paul Owor is in hot soup after DJ Aludah accussed him of threatening to shoot and kill him.
Owor, who goes by the alias “Hustle King” on Twitter declared intentions to wrestle Busiro South MP incumbent Peter Ssematimba out of the August House earlier last month and has been running a heated campaign on social media and on ground.
In light of a Kenyan shooting of a DJ by MP Babu Owino this year in January, Sir Aludah expressed discomfort in empowering “irrational” members of the public that he believes would most definitely misuse their power.
“Earlier this year, we had this disturbing incident (Babu Owino shooting) happen just here at our neighbors’ Kenya. This is exactly what happens when we put such people in powerful positions. Its important we know these people’s true colors before we put them in positions of power.” DJ Aludah said
According to information this website has gathered, Mr Owor comfronted Aludah when he refused to play singer Alan Tonix’s songs in club. Tonix, who is signed to Gifted Music along with several other artistes like Latinum had had a long stint out of hits and the DJ didn’t think his music was worth his audience’s time.
A Twitter user tweeted earlier today that Owor is hardworking and responsible and would actually make a great legislator only if he works on his temper. Quoting the tweet, DJ Aludah said;
“Maybe. I dont know him personally but based on the fact that he still has the audacity to make a call TODAY and say he can still come to my home and shoot me, I’m not sure you want to put such a person into a place of power.”
According to our snoops, Aludah has since vowed never to play Tonjagaala by The Executives and top clown Saleh’s hogwash.
We were unable to reach out to Mr Owor for a statement as our calls to his number couldn’t go through.
