A student at Uganda’s Law Development Centre (LDC) an institution set up by law to turn Lawyers into advocates of courts of law has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to preliminary reports, the student that is registered under Learning Firm D3 went for testing after experiencing symptoms of the deadly virus like coughing, sneezing and high temperature.
LDC was cleared by government to carry out online learning about a month ago and had completely finished their syllabi with students just left with sitting exams.
President Museveni, in his most recent nation address, ordered the reopening of schools and universities only for candidates and final year students to begin on October 15th.
Uganda has recorded over 5000 COVID -19 cases ever since the outbreak of the virus in Uganda this year in March.
