President Museveni has extended the national lockdown for some more three weeks to enhance social distancing in the country amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
The President announced the development in a televised address from State House, Nakasero.
“The ‘stay at home’ shall continue for 21 days until May 5th and all the regulations that are in place will stay in effect.” The President communicated.
