BREAKING! Janet Museveni Cancels End of Term One Exams for All Schools

The first lady and Minister of Education, Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni has cancelled all End of Term one examinations for all schools at pre-primary, primary, secondary and teacher training colleges due to the COVID-19 crisis.

While addressing the nation in a televised speech, the Minister of Education said there is going to be limited time for study and students required as much learning time as possible.

“There will be no formal tests or exams at the end of term one. All the time must be used for teaching/learning. Cumulative end of topic-based results should be used on the end of term report.” Mrs Museveni said.

The first lady also informed the nation that when the 30 day lock down ends, government would inform the pulic and students on the new opening days.

“The 30 days will end on April 20th. The government will inform you on the opening date. If all goes according to plan, April 27th, 2020 to June 12th, 2020 will be the 1st term and June 22nd to September 4th the second term.” Mrs Museveni added.
