BEEF! Speaker Kadaga and Deputy Oulanyah Clash in Parliament
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on WhatsApp

Today the Speaker of Parliament Hon. Rebecca Kadaga showed  Jacob Oulanyah, the deputy speaker levels after she turned down all his requests to speak on the floor of Parliament amidst prevailing sessions.

Kadaga told Oulanyah to instead find her in her office and discuss what he wanted to front in presence of other MPs.

In return, Oulanyah saw this as a downgrading occasion and decided not to proceed to her office as she had directed.

During the 2nd session in the afternoon, Oulanyah again raised his hand for an opportunity to speak but Kadaga turned it down again.

From the news arriving on our desk, Oulanyah wanted to ask Kadaga why he was attacked after returning back the controversial 20M to the COVID-19 Task Force since it was a directive from the president.

It is also said that Kadaga also returned the 20M secretly to avoid insults from the public.
