The Uganda Police have confirmed the arrest of a one Robert Kakooza, a 25 year old man who attempted to commit suicide in front of the National Unity Platform (NUP) People Power offices, in Kamwokya, a Kampala suburb. President Museveni, in his latest address to the nation, has extended curfew hours and allowed Boda Boda riders to resume operation after over 4 months in total lockdown due to COVID-19. In a meeting with the State Minister for Higher Education Hon John Chrysostom Muyingo, Members of Parliament (MPs) on the National Economy Committee appealed for the cancellation of the 2020 academic year.
