The National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidates have emerged victorious after winning majority of the seats during the Kisoro District Youth Council Executive Committee Elections.
The NRM party won eight of the nine positions during the elections held at Kisoro District Electoral Commission offices in Kisoro District.
John Bosco Tuyizere of the NRM party was elected as the District Youth Committee Chairperson, Remegious Hagabimana as the Vice Chairperson, Gaspari Niyonzima as the General Secretary, Gilbert Ntirenganya as Publicity Secretary, Christine Mbabazi as Secretary for Female Youth, Maxencia Tumwikire was elected as the Secretary for Labor Affairs, Deus Nzayisaba was elected as Secretary for Sports, Culture and Moriss Hakizimana was elected as the Secretary for Finance while Immaculate Kyampire, an independent candidate was elected as the Secretary for Student Affairs.
Sarah Ingabire, who presided over the election, said that the process
ended peacefully with no complaints.
