The Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda, Anita Among and her husband, Moses Magogo were Sunday, May 12 enumerated at their Nakasero residence by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) officials led by Executive Director, Dr Chris Mukiza.
Among noted that planning is a scientific function, and this census will allow authorities to budget appropriately and with exactness.
She called on Ugandans to embrace the activity, and urged UBOS officials to speed up the process and have as wide coverage as possible for accuracy.
She also condoled with the family of Andrew Ssali, an enumerator who was murdered on Saturday in Najjera, a Kampala suburb.
She urged security forces to enhance protection for the officials to ensure a smooth exercise.
