Ten more Ugandans have recovered from COVID-19 and been discharged from Entebbe Grade B hospital after they tested negative for the novel coronavirus twice.
The discharged include 5 children from the Watoto Choir, 3 of their attendants, 1 boda boda rider from Kasubi and 1 man from Kalangala, according to information from the Ministry of Health.
Dr. Joyce Moriku Kaducu, the State Minister of Health i/c Primary Health Care presided over the discharge ceremony and urged the public to continue praying for the other patients and hope for more recoveries.
The new recoveries extend the number of COVID-19 recoveries to 38 after six Ugandans were discharged from Mulago yesterday and initially raised the number to 28.
According to the Ministry of Health, the resident of Kalangala will go home tomorrow (Tuesday), after the community has been oriented and sensitized about COVID-19 recoveries so that he is not stigmatised and discriminated.
