Word reaching our desk is that renowned superstar model, Barbara Namuddu, a ‘Campus Remnant’ and ‘Son of the Prophet Elvis Mbonye’ is a finalist at the prestigious Top Model 2020 event slated to happen in the UK in March this year.
Top Model is the leading professional model search awards and fashion event and has a proven track record of discovering new model talent, launching careers and creating dreams.
Many of it’s finalists and winners have signed with agencies, worked as professional models, been published internationally, traveled internationally and walked at London Fashion Week among other top fashion events.
In preparation ahead of her participation at Top Model, Barbara will be sharing her journey with the nation Uganda as this is the first time a Ugandan has been chosen as finalist making her the first Ugandan Top Model UK Finalist since it’s inception 12 years ago.
Barbara has notably graced various runways on top shows across the continent from Kampala to Kigali to Addis Ababa where she had the opportunity of gracing the Vogue Italia online cover during the Hub of Africa Fashion show, volunteered with various non – profits while helping sick children and children in need; an area she is passionate about, co – hosted the Barney and Barney show, an online show that celebrates golden friendship stories with her best friend Aaron J. Tamale and used her platform as a model to inspire the girl child in her community here in Kampala – Uganda.
