Yesterday the COVID-19 task force together with officials from the Ministry of Health intercepted a body of a Ugandan identified as Daniel Sebuliba brought in the country as cargo from Qatar.
The body was immediately picked up by A-Plus Funeral Services together with Red Cross to Kayunga where he was buried.
It was later identified that coronavirus was not the course of his death. Close sources say that he was living in Qatar where he collapsed and fell in his bathroom.
“The burial was managed by our safe and dignited burial team. The deceased wasn’t a COVID-19 case”, URCS’s Irene Nakasiita said.
The Civil Aviation Authority has however in a statement said the body was received and went through normal standard operating procedures.
