XFM radio presenter and popular events emcee in Kampala, Denzel Mwiyeretsi is in hot soup after a myriad of girls came out last night and today morning to tell tales of how he raped and/or attempted to rape them.
Denzel, a known motor mouth on social media, who has been hosting every subject of trending drama on Ugandan Twitter at his XFM Xzit show, is unusually silent about all the allegations that are coming up against him and we cannot quote a single statement he has issued on the matter.
All efforts to reach out to him are so far fruitless. What is true however, is that this is not the first time that Denzel’s name is being mentioned in rape allegations.
Last year, a photographer only known as Sandra, released a full tale of how Denzel is ‘touchy and rapey’ everytime he is intoxicated and that he had tried on about three occasions to rape her.
Her story was perhaps not given the attention it deserved and Denzel actually came out to rubbish the allegations himself, even involving the Police and having the accuser summoned to the CID. How the matter ended, we cannot tell.
Last night, Pearl Elisabeth Kitimbo released screenshots of a recount by a girl that confided in her to tell details of Denzel’s rape claims. In the story, the girl accuses Denzel of drugging her before he forcefully had sexual intercourse with her, something she says has haunted her memory ever since.
