Controversial Baba FM Journalist and National Unity Platform (NUP) member Basajja Mivule has continued to direct his guns to People Power Principal Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine, whom he accuses of harbouring dictatorial intentions over Uganda.
In an interview, the Journalist said he cannot look on as an Empire is being prepared to take over the country.
“An empire of homosexuals, drug addicts, wrong elements and criminals. We can’t allow that. I see them say that Basajja Mivule has defected, I have never been part of a struggle that abuses people.” He said.
The controversial journalist, had been lowkey until he authored a video tape that criticised the NRM government of promoting sectarianism and favouring Westerners over other Ugandans as regards job allocations in the country.
Bobi Wine’s People Power distanced themselves from his hate speech and said whatever he was insinuating was his own personal opinions that were not in any way rhetoric that they would associate themselves and other supporters of the “struggle” to.
“I was annoyed when I heard someone say that I speak on behalf of Bobi Wine. I am Bobi Wine’s spokesperson and added ‘Eddy Kenzo olinga eggundi y’omukazi.’ We can’t tolerate this kind of obscenity.” Basajja Mivule said.
He said he will not subscribe to any other king in Uganda but definitely wouldn’t subscribe to the kingdom of Bobi Wine. He challenged the Kyadondo East Legislator to come out and tame people that are using such language and purport to subscribe to his movement.
“I wouldn’t have a problem with Bobi Wine. But why do his people come out like mad dogs against any challengers and he keeps quiet? That is where my problem with him is.” Mivule added.
