Over seven people are feared dead after a building that was sheltering workers collapsed at midnight in Kansanga, a Kampala suburb.
The workers were staying at the construction site following covid-19 presidential directive for sites to operate with workers sheltered on site.
The search for more people said to be trapped in the rubble after a building collapsed in Kiwempe Lukuli continues. Seven people have so far been confirmed dead.
This has joined a number of structures around town that have collapsed during covid-19 lockdown with the recent one being Tycoon Sudhir’s mega gate house.
