Blankets and Wine, that happened yesterday at the Indian Association Grounds, was a very successful event – atleast in the organisers’ sense. To the common folk that anticipated only fun and enjoyments, it came at a cost. Survival for the fittest.
The scuffle at the entrance left many a girl child either stripped of their clothing or robbed of their wines and whiskys by individuals that decided to take advantage of the misfortune.
For others, the event was a success and the influx in numbers came at their advantage. “I enjoyed the event. Because of the huge numbers and limited space, girls were dancing closer than they’d have been if there was space.” One social media user said.
