Professional Sex Worker and city socialite Shanitah Namuyimbwa (Bad Black) is a happy woman after her efforts to sensitize the danger of truck drivers to boarder sex workers in the Ministry of Health advert paid off.
According to her, the money was mobilised by supporters of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and President Yoweri Museveni because she had been swinging words that would spoil their image in public.
The development comes just a day after Events Promoter, Balaam Barugahare met her and promised a meeting with the president to present the plight of her colleague sex workers to the big man.
Bad Black appeared in a Ministry of Health COVID-19 advert but claimed their promise to pay her didn’t materialise. As such, she demanded Shs 500M for her work and Shs 50M extra for her incovenience.
She threatened to sue the Ministry to recover the said sums, but in a response, the Ministry officials claimed she had volunteered and was not entitled to any pay whatsoever.
At a press conference, moments ago, the self proclaimed leader of Sex Workers in Uganda acknowledged receipt of all her money and said she has no more problems against President Museveni and his government.
“I have been paid, and my children are finally going to eat meat. The money was rallied by NRM supporters and has been delivered in cash. I nolonger have any problems with the government.” Bad Black said.
