With a whopping 2362 cases and 22 deaths currently recorded in Uganda, The Minister of Health Dr. Ruth Aceng has assured Ugandans that another lock-down wouldn’t be a solution to the exponentially raising covid-19 cases.
While talking on a local radio station, Dr Ruth Aceng revealed that the government doesn’t have any plan to lock down the country amidst too much speculations overwhelming social media.
There has been growing fear in the country of possible stringent lockdown following cases that were recorded in prominent government offices and TV stations.
The President of Uganda is however expected to address the nation today Tuesday on the same issue.
