There was drama as the Presidential Convoy carrying the incumbent and National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer H.E Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni and the campaign convoy of his National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential counterpart Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine interfaced along Entebbe Road on Sunday as the latter was headed for Kamwokya while the latter was on his way to the Entebbe State House.

Hundreds of NUP supporters lined up on the street and chanted People Power slogans as the President’s convoy bypassed the activities at breakneck speed.

President Museveni, who was visible in the car, was busy reading newspapers and not in his usual mood of waving at the people as he makes his away through jam.

When President Museveni’s convoy was out of sight, NUP supporters poured in the road and continued chanting People Power slogans amid heavy Military Police deployment.
