Four law students at Uganda Christian University (UCU) have been awarded scholarships at Georgia University in the United States.

This comes as a reward for their exceptional performance during the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition. The students include Isaac Ssebulime, Veronica Nekesa Namyalo, Jemimah Jehopio and Ruth Kasobye.

However, they were awarded half tuition scholarships. The full tuition fee at George Town University is $64,548 but they were given scholarships amounting to $32,274.

The Moot Competition is a global Competition that was put in place to boost the legal practice among University students as well as to improve trade amongst countries across the world.
