Uganda Revenue Authority’s Dicksons Kateshumbwa who was acting as the head of Domestic Taxes has today resigned The Ugandan Wire has learnt.
It is alleged that on Thursday, him and other officials at Uganda Revenue Authority were forced to resign.
The resignation comes a month after tax collection targets were missed by 48% and 2 days to the declaration of the Authority’s performance.
Dicksons has been working as the head of domestic taxes for over 14 years. This as well comes a few months after President Museveni sacked the former commissioner general Doris Akor.
