The recently concluded Big Brother series was one of my best of all times as it was full of unprecedented drama and quite interesting characters, unrivalled as compared to the previous seasons.
In the first two weeks of the season we saw a number of housemates fighting for food (Tochi and Neo) and the unnecessary bragging of how rich some of the housemates are ( Ka3na and Kidwaya).
We also saw the most dormant housemates ever to be on the show; Erica and Lilo as they spent most of their time in the house sleeping and kissing in bed and no wonder they didn’t last long on the show. Ka3na’s boss lady attitude saw her become the first housemate to be evicted.
Wathoni and Kaisha did almost nothing in the house that most of us viewers don’t remember them any more.
A one Bright O was a whole mood in the house that viewers nicknamed him Lord Baelish because of his cunning ways and relationships advice. He was one to always look out for and I am sure even outside the house he will be quite a brand.
Trikytee was so much fun in the house and his free spirited character saved him from being evicted a number of times and we are set for what the tranquility man will offer us in the near future.
Prince was a cool guy and almost friendly to everyone even when Erica chased him out of their Head of House lounge. Praise helped everyone in the house with their exercises every morning but was also always in people’s businesses and maybe when he left we didn’t miss him so much.
Lucy with her OCD was like the mother of the house and ofcourse her daily fights made the season for me. Tolanibaj was that pretty girl that clearly liked working alone and the only thing we missed about her when she left was her “ship” with Prince.
Nengi the most beautiful and humble house girl in the BB Naija House was steadyfast and focused on the money even when the ever smiling Ozo tried to win her over. I would say Ozo met Nengi and focused more on pursuing her than the game. Dorathy, the babe with a full chest made it to the finale because of her good character and focus. Every viewer was rooting for her and she didn’t disappoint us.
Kiddwaya being the rich man’s kid said his focus wasn’t on the money but to show his other side of life and the beautiful Erica couldn’t resist him however we were all disappointed when power and love got to her and she bullied Laycon which earned her a disqualification yet she had a chance of winning.
Most viewers didn’t like Vee because she managed to outsmart Trikytee and Laycon which earned Neo and herself a place in the finale. Everyone who called her a witch couldn’t stand how she intelligently played the game. Out side the house she’s one to look out for.
I saved the best for the last, Laycon was one intelligent housemate and his good character earned him some good friends in the house that even when Erica bullied him for liking her he never lost his cool, and safe to say, he deserved the win.
Dorathy, became the last woman standing in the competition and first runner up with 21.85 per cent of the votes. Nengi came in third place after polling 15.03 per cent of the votes, while Neo and Vee finished fourth and fifth with 1.94 and 1.18 per cent respectively.
For winning the show, Laycon will be rewarded with, N30million cash prize; an SUV from Innoson Motors; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy of Revolution Plus; a trip to Dublin, Ireland, courtesy of Guinness Nigeria Plc; amazing home appliances courtesy of Scanfrost and other mouthwatering prizes.
