Artiste Bebe Cool, has in a rare show of grace, shown mercy and forgiven the fans that pelted him water bottles at the Boom Party Concert last weekend at the Cricket Oval.
The self styled leader of the Silent Majority that support incumbent President Museveni was treated to harsh water bottles and boos when he made it to the stage on Cindy Sanyu’s concert.
First son Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba was quick to come out and criticise the Uganda Police for letting such hooligans go away unpunished for causing violence to a man just because he supports the President.
As if to save face, the Police quickly arrested 11 suspected ‘hooligans’ said to have been involved in the exercise, the group that Bebe Cool has since met and ‘forgiven.’
Members of the public have criticised the move saying it is script written and Bebe Cool doesn’t reserve the right to forgive suspected criminals that are held in Police.
The suspected criminals are later seen posing for photos with the ‘WIRE, WIRE’ singer and flashing the thumb that is a political sign of ‘No Change’, a political slogan for the ruling National Resistence Movement (NRM).
