A former Principal Engineer with the Ministry of Works Mr. Robert Kakiza who faked his death 9 years ago to escape prosecution for Abuse of Office in relation to a Shs 4.2 billion loss.  The said amount was meant to procure 70,000 bicycles for Village Chairpersons. Kampala Bar Owners and Managers, have this morning been hit by sad news after youthful Nexus Events and Nexus Bar owner Ivan Kakooza passed on this morning. Mr. Kakooza died on Friday morning at Mulago Hospital where he had been, according to insider sources, admitted for a number of days. There are two theories about his death at the moment with one saying that he passed on because of stress related complications that had caused him depression. Police in Ntungamo are holding a former Chairman of Uganda National Farmers’ Association (UNFA) Ntungamo branch and retired Headmaster John Soko Mugisha for allegedly beating and torturing his wife Jennifer Beriika and also neglecting his family.
