The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has raised concerns over the utilisation of a Shs803 billion World Bank grant intended for the Generating Growth Opportunities and Productivity for Women (GROW) Project. Police used teargas to block Leader of Opposition, Joel Ssenyonyi from touring the Lubigi wetland site, where National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) recently evicted residents for illegally occupying the wetlands. A total of 25 coaches began their six-month CAF A Diploma coaching course on Tuesday 11th June 2024 at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has extended support worth Shs413 million towards Buganda Kingdom’s poverty alleviation project known as “Mwanyi Terimba”.
