President Museveni has reshuffled Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) countrywide, a move that has seen motormouth Kampala Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Hudu Hussein taken to Yumbe District and replaced by Amina Lukanga who nominated him for President in the 2021 election.

“H.E the President, in exercise of his Constitutional mandate has appointed the following persons as Senior Presidential Advisors, RDC Secretariat Commissioners, Resident District Commissioners, Resident City Commissioners, Deputy Resident District Commissioners and Deputy Resident City Commissioners. The appointments take immediate effect.” Faruk Kirunda, the Deputy Press Secretary said in a statement.

Hussein has been in the news recently after he unveiled plans to register boda bodas in the city and ban street preachers (although he later recalled this statement) among other plans for the city.

Ms Lukanga’s appointment comes off as a typical reward for standing with the old man with a hat at the time many youths like her chose to ride with ghetto gladiator, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine. Amina Lukanga and the NRM Youth League chairman Ghadaffi Nasur nominated President Museveni.
