All National Resistance Movement (NRM) Central Executive Committee (CEC) members will sleep in State House today ahead of the announcement of their decision on who will be backed by the party for Speaker of the 11th Parliament.

According to our sources in State House, there have been complaints of bribery in the race and as a result of that, members of CEC will not be allowed to go back home today. They’ll spend the night in State House Entebbe and communicate their decision at 8am tomorrow.

We have also learned that the members of CEC will be provided more data away from candidate interviews to arrive at a decision.

The Speaker of the 10th Parliament Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga is tussling it out with her deputy Jacob Oulanyah.
