The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party Secretary General Ms Justine Kasule Lumumba has challenged the NRM leadership in Ntungamo District to lure the presidential candidate on Alliance for Nation Transformation (ANT) Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu to come back into NRM due to his good leadership skills.

She expressed worry that Gen Muntu being born in Ntungamo District, it may deny NRM and President Museveni 100% votes yet the District NRM chairperson is the first lady Janet Kataaha Museveni.

Lumumba was on Saturday inaugurating the Ntungamo NRM Action Network Association meant to converse for votes for NRM flag bearers in Ntungamo District held at Ankole Resort and Spa in Ntungamo Municipality.

Lumumba donated 2 motorcycles worth Shs 8M and Shs 2M to the association of 3000 Youth whose Patron is Rushenyi County MP and candidate Mwesigwa Rukutana for fuel to facilitate this mobilization effort.

The vice chairperson NRM Western Region Dr Chris Baryomunsi asked the youth to use the Kanungu strategy of not voting Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine because he marries from Ntungamo and Gen Muntu who is native like what they did to Amama Mbabazi in 2016 where Kanungu denied him votes.

The MP Rushenyi County who is NRM flag bearer Hon Mwesigwa Rukutana commended the youth for voluntarily coming together to hunt votes for all NRM flag bearers in Ntungamo District.
