Our reporters camped in Tororo District, Eastern Uganda, have revealed to us that the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Electoral Commission (EC) Chairman Dr. Tanga Odoi has mobilized a team of NRM supporters including boba boda riders and women to block presidential hopeful Kyaguranyi Robert alias Bobi Wine and his supporters from holding rallies in the district.

“We are here with our team to make sure that there is no rally in Tororo and Bobi Wine must respect the law”, Dr. Tanga Odoi told our reporters.

Dr. Tang Odoi said that he has brought on board NRM volunteers and he will give the fuel to make sure that Bobi Wine doesn’t talk to anyone in Tororo town.

Before Tororo, Bobi Wine was in Butaleja District where thousands of supporters welcomed him and attended his rally to hear what he had to tell them.

“The people of Butaleja have spoken and their voice must be heard. Thank you our people for the unconditional love and support. A new Uganda will leave no one behind.” Bobi Wine promised.

The National Unity Platform (NUP) flag bearer is canvassing votes in the Eastern Region of Uganda after successfully combing West Nile, Lango, Acholi and Karamoja Regions among others.
