There have been true allegations going around that People Power supporters across Uganda were engaged in elections for the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) flagbearers ahead of the 2021 Presidential and General Elections.

Speaking to The Ugandan Wire, People Power insiders have disclosed that it was a well calculated plan to set ground for their 2021 assault of President Museveni and ruling party to kick them out of Parliament.

“We are not just interested in Presidency, we want to take the Legislature too because we don’t want MPs that will frustrate development plans of President Bobi Wine.” A source inside People Power told this website.

They allege that they aired out messages to their supporters countrywide with one simple message, “vote out every potential headache for the National Unity Platform (NUP) in 2021.”

As such, there was an unprecedented wave of losses for sitting cabinet ministers and incumbent NRM members of parliament that were seeking extra terms in office.

“You saw all those ministers that were voted out? That is a clear indication of our operation that was code named “KICK OUT THE JUNTA,” Our source further revealed.

They said that they’re in close contact with FDC’s Dr. Kizza Besigye and intend to practise his alternative plan while they front Bobi Wine head on against President Museveni.
