After close to a year of waiting, Big Brother Naija resumed on Sunday 19th July, 2020 with 20 housemates from different Nigerian States.
The housemates include Eric, Neo, Wathoni, Ka3na (pronounced as Katrina), Nengi, Ozo, Vee, Prince, Lilo, Trikytee, Lucy, Kiddwaya, Dorathy, Prize, Tochi, Erica, Brighto, Kisha, Tolanibaj and Laycon.
Week one kicked off with games of getting to know each other with Nengi as head of house and Wathoni as her deputy. As expected, it didn’t take long as the housemates served us with some drama when Lucy and Kisha decided to quarrel all night because of a mere bedroom door. Prize was the saviour of the day.
Ka3na and Wathoni fought too in the earlier days of the week and their fight ran viral as fans on Twitter even made a hashtag out of it.
Relationships in the House So Far
The housemates didn’t take long before falling for each other as the natural forces of attraction already got the better of Eric and Lilo, Neo and Vee, Kiddwaya and Erica. We hope to see more “ships” sailing as the season goes on.
The Saturday (25th July, 2020) party was as lit as fans anticipated in the House. The housemates took ample time to prepare for the night party, danced wildly and enjoyed the liquor.
Erica was the star attraction of the night as she danced and enjoyed her way to the hearts of horny BB Naija fans across the continent and all over the world.
Dubbed the “Lockdown Edition”, the show had Laycon (one of the participants) performing his song as a surprise performance, earning himself fleshy nyigos (dubs) from each and every female housemate.
Kiddwaya kissed Wathoni on live camera in the Truth and Dare game shortly after the party.
The Sunday Eviction Show
During the Sunday (First Eviction show on 26th July) hosted by Ebuka Obi – Uchendu had Ozzo clearing the air that he is only friends with Dorathy but finds Nengi very attractive.
The host also announced a new twist in the Lockdown Edition saying that this season, every Monday after the Head of House games, all housemates will be put up for eviction aside from the Head of House and the Deputy.
This week’s head of House is Nengi and she chose Prince as her deputy.
The BB Naija 2020 Lockdown Edition kicked off at the world famous Big Brother House in Lagos, Nigeria after the Housemates were quarantined for 14 days and tested for the novel coronavirus.
Big Brother Africa, that used to house participants from all over Africa was last aired in 2014.
