Cabinet Approves 15 New Constituencies Ahead of 2021

Yesterday, during a cabinet meeting, government approved 15 fresh constituencies ahead of the 2021 Presidential and General Elections.

In a press release, the Minister of ICT and National Guidance Ms Judith Nabakooba, unveiled the new constiuencies that take effect next year.

“Cabinet has approved the creation of 15 New Counties. These will start operation next year and will have their representatives considered by Parliament.” Ms Nabakooba said.

The new counties include; Kiboga West, Buhweju West, Lamwo East, Bugangaizi South, Chekwi East, Mulanda, Buwekula South, Kwania North, Kagoma North, Buyanja East, Ngariam, Agago West, Bukanga North, Bukimbiri, and Nakaseke Central.
