News coming in from the Ministry of Health indicates that five (5) more people have tested positive to the coronavirus making total COVID-19 cases in Uganda 14.

The Ministry has acknowledged that 2 of the people that tested positive were part of the 6 Chinese nationals that had escaped from quarantine to Zombo last week.

“These however shall not be presented to court over the fear to spread the virus” Dr. Joyce Mariku Kaducu The Minister of State for Primary Health Care posted on her social media.

The 3 other cases besides Chinese nationals include a 63 year old man who traveled from Germany days ago and was currently staying in Najanankumbi, a 57 old man in Adjumani who seemingly hasn’t traveled to any high risk countries but is known to be doing business at the Uganda – South Sudan boarder and 8 months old baby in Iganga whose father travelled from Kenya a few days ago.
