There was drama yesterday in Bungokho South, Mbale when the district LC5 chairman Mr Bernard Mujasi Masaba begged for audience from President Museveni to reveal to him what he termed as “secrets” pinning People Power’s 2021 Presidential aspirant Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.

Mr Masaba made the request during the launch of Sino-Uganda Industrial Park (Mbale) where President Museveni was, as the chief guest.

“Mr. President, I request that at a later time, you give me permission to meet you privately so that I can share with the electoral secrets of Bobi Wine,” the Chairman said.

When his turn to speak came up, President completely ignored Mr Masaba’s hilarious request and refused to speak about it all. He thanked the leaders of Mbale District for helping Tian Tiang group (investors) to settle in the park and providing them with land to set up the over 60 factories in the area at the moment.

“I have seen politicians who while start by saying, Uganda is an agricultural country. How misleading can that be? How does one give such a speech? No, we can not rely only on agriculture, that is why I have been preaching about four sectors; Commercial agriculture, ICT, services and industry. How will all of us be employed in agriculture?” Museveni said in his speech.
